Bangkok- Day 7!

THAILAND | Tuesday, 22 March 2011 | Views [477]

Hello again!

This morning I got up early and had breakfast cause I was off to the dentist! It took around 15 minutes and I had a beautiful tooth again! $27 for a filling! its just incredible!

Ross had a sleep in but was booked in for the dentist at 11am so while we was getting his tooth cut! for a crown,, I went and put in our washing at the laundry lady who I swear stole some of my knickers last time! hahahah (cant complain for 30baht per kilo)

Almost 2 hours later Ross came out with a swollen and numb cheek and a fake temporary crown on his back molar. hahhaah! Poor little mate! He has to go back next Monday to get the real crown put on. He has had 3 fillings and a crown (the crown is the best you can get in gold) for under $500. So I told him to use our spending moneys to get it done, cause I doubt we would be able to afford alll the things he needed done when we got back! haha

We then went and had lunch at Joy Luck CLub (another place recommended in the Lonely Planet book) which was so trendy.... very Melbourne i thought, little eccentric...... as you can tell by the rice teddy bear (in the gallery)!!! I had a green chicken curry which was so tasty, Ross was impressed.

After that we headed for take two of trying to get to the station to buy our tickets to the island and we made it! 10 stops on the boat and a 15minute walk in the blistering heat and we arrived and bought two tickets on the train to Chumphong, where we stay for one night and then get a connecting bus then boat to the island of Ko Tao!

We will be heading off from Bangkok next Tuesday. we are very excited for some relaxation time and maybe a diving course! hahhaha no way- im too chicken for that! (Ko Tao is famous for its diving) but we will probably only snorkle hahaha

Ok well time for bed. Love to you all

love nell nell  and Rboss x
