Thousands of magpie geese congregate to feed on Mamukala Wetlands, Kakadu National Park. This ecosystem is extremely important as a transit place for migratory birds before they head further north or south depending on the season. Due to the abundance of bird found here, this place has became one of the most visited tourist area. as a result, tourist infrastructure such as viewing platform, accessible roads and washroom facilities are built and disturbing this crucial environment

Jumping croc cruise is one of the most popular tourist activity in Kakadu National Park. Visitors are cruising down the river while the cruise employer baited the saltwater crocodile with meat. this cruise runs several times a day and the crocodiles in this area recognizes and associated this boat with food. this is an example of how tourism has changed wild animal's behaviour.

First introduced as a biological control for sugarcane beatles in sugarcane plantation, the current population boom of cane toads has threatened native species' population. The poison gland on their back will excrete lethal poisonous milk-like liquid for the predators, this includes dingoes, jabirus,and kingfisher. this toad also pose competition to endemic frog and are extremely hard to control. opening kakadu for tourism also increases the spread of this invasive species, mainly by accidentally transporting them through road vehicles.
