The Food Tells Me Where I Am

I traveled to The UK and from the moment I landed. I knew I wanted to sample all of the foods of each locality. I tried everything from meat pies to haggis to blood pudding and surprisingly, I loved them! I couldn't understand my classmates who would go to McDonald's or KFC during the study abroad trip. Here was a great opportunity to at least sample the local cuisine and so many were not willing to even try. There are similar experiences of my travels to Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Ireland and the Dominican Republic. The local foods were amazing! I almost ate my weight in passion fruit!
