Although I am told by many individuals - I am an old soul, I enjoy manifesting such wisdom through experiences. I believe in discipline, but not to limit one's ability to become expressive. I believe in vulnerability. I strive to welcome any emotion into my being and allow my heart to feel, as I believe exposure will sprout inspiration into my soul. Because of this, traveling to new, alternative environments and immersing myself into another diverse culture, without familiarity is the ultimate direction to follow. This is an opportune process to undergo while humbling thyself, inasmuch as connecting with other diverse individuals. Nature and people are my chosen preferences to photograph. I prefer to not manipulate the subject because I want an organic shot that captures my perspective. I am attempting to capture what has initially drawn me into said subject. While I believe in a natural shot, I also believe in shooting with film, as it truly acknowledges rich colors. Most importantly, I am liberating what I feel through images in a hope to capture the expression of what other individuals may feel, or inspire someone to express themselves from a more ambiguous approach.
