Photography... Travel... Adventure...
They are not just words, or simple activities. They are a way of life. For me they are the perfect combination that leads to happiness. Along with my family.
My name is Catalin, I am 31 years old and I live in a student city in Transylvania, Romania.
When I finished university I went to work in the States on a J1 internship during the summer. There I bought my first camera, a point and shoot that did wonders. I fell in love with it.
A few years later I started hiking in the mountains and climbing as part of the local alpine club. Landscapes and animals became my favorites in terms of photography and I upgraded to a super zoom bridge camera.
But soon, as I was progressing, that became obsolete also and finally, in December 2012, I managed to purchase my first DSLR camera, and since then I didn't let it go from my hands even for one day. I am always in search of getting THE shot and not just taking pictures.
I traveled almost around the whole Europe and a part of the United States. Holidays are not leisure time but travelling time for me.
It could be a wonder job...
