My Scholarship entry - My Kind of Adventure

When we initially heard about the Anaconda hunt on our last day in the pampas, Bolivia we were not overly excited. We’d seen amazing wildlife, but barely slept due to wooden beds, unbearable heat and our bums being covered in giant mosquito bites! However, we embraced the experience and decided to have fun. Our inspiration was simply lifting spirits of the group, who were ready to return to the luxuries of a hostel! This is just one example of us ‘in action.' Although it is not our finest camera work - it shows what two individuals with no training (at the time) can do. Euan has since been involved with video projects at work and traveled making presentations and Cat has just completed an MA in International Journalism and worked and traveled overseas extensively. Cat aspires to be a travel/charity film maker where she can combine her passion for the world with her creativity for making videos for different audiences. Euan would love to become a presenter and has the personality and natural talent for it. This would be an amazing opportunity for us, as trying to change career is a tough choice. We’ve demonstrated drive, enthusiasm and passion and both have infectious personalities.
