This woman is one of the hundreds of patients that will be seen in one clinic day. It's not always the case where an individual will let me photograph them due to the fact that some believe that having your photograph taken meant that your sole was being stolen. This elderly woman was very open to me photographing her though.

This is one of the clinic rooms in Haiti that we have set up for the patients that we provide medical help for. Clinic days get extremely busy, emotional, and chaotic, yet this photograph represents the calm before the storm.

Behind the guest house where we stay at the orphanage is a long pathway that leads to a place called the prayer gardens. On this walk you pass large groups of people praying in circles or on their knees. There is one lonely house that you pass where all the children outside are nude and hungry. Members from our group brought these children clothes and power bars the next day.
