Casa Guatemala Orphanage

The subject matter was inspired by our interest in people who are making a difference around the world. We love to know stories about people who want to help others in places where money is scarce and resources limited.

To date we have been making short little doco’s for 6 months. That is it! We bought a canon 550D before leaving on our travels, got a copy of premiere pro and hit the road. All our learning has been done on the fly via YouTube. We have been travelling in South and Central America, filming projects we meet and are about to launch a website called www.fivepointfive.org.

We want to do this for the rest of our lives. Our ambition is to inspire people and we want to bring our audience great stories which are well written, visually impressive and aurally interesting. We want to be really successful. We also want to bring people awesome travel videos.

Winning this competition would make an immense difference to our project and in turn our lives. It would instil confidence and hope for what we want to do in the future. To be able to learn from professionals and seasoned film makers would be incredible.

We need the help but will be going on this journey either way.
