Death Speedboats

At this moment, at least a 30% of the global population( if not more), must be in the same instance as me. Sitting behind a screen, working and thinking where would we like to travel next time. Or remembering about those good times, when we could feel free, at least for a weak.
We arrived to Panama, without knowing much about the country. We stayed at the old city, that with a cute facade, knows well how to hide all the poverty of the city. In short, we wanted to visit "San Blas", we heard about a bunch of wonderful beaches that claimed to be a couple of hours. The trip is organized by a group of Indians called KUNA, no one else is allowed to bring tourists to the islands. The best blend of antiquity and modernity reflect these Indians with the iphone and pathfinders who understand little modernization but much aware of the struggle against the government. They are in charge of protecting the 365 islands that line the coast of Panama and Colombia.Without respecting much drive traffic rules and taking minor inclements of weather, the first stage to reach the island is 4 hours. From time to time, they show their Kuna flag. I can imagine how europeans could react when they see a swastica pieced in a kind of spain flag. But the flag of Kuna Revolution has no relationship with the swastika used by the Nazis. Represents an octopus, which according to local tradition, created the world. His story, like that of many indigenous peoples reflects the intention of the government to integrate a people who purport to be integrated under customs and habits that are not theirs.Their ways of acting are a little awkward, yes, but still are the owners and keepers of the most beautiful islands of central america. The islands, beautiful, they're just invaded by mud and timber houses. Globalization has not had access to the place, though there are contradictions in the way they live, quiet old and modern accessories that "gringos" as they themselves, give them to resist the fight against the government. The crystal clear water is the most beautiful i ever saw, diving is pure and natural, reefs are amazing and the sand is as white as flour.Apparently, the children of the island do not go to school. But somehow or other they gain access to alcohol and drugs.. I could imagine this place full of giant hotels, but on the other hand it would be the world pasaije ruine. This paradise seems to be the real encounter between the struggle against modernization and globalization itself
