California USA, Mexico, Guatemala & Belize This is my journal for my next trip from 17 March 2008 starting in LA, San Francisco, San Diego then down into Mexico. Will now be going to parts of Guatemala and Belize.

Arrived in Colima and Im staying at my friend Pako´s house. Pako's mum has been spoiling me by plying me with food.  So far have had a look around the city at the cathedral and some of the plazas around. Pako has been taking me all around Colima.  We visited a little town called Coloma which people call the magic town.  All the houses there are painted white and it has an active volcano nearby.   We have also visited a city called Manzanillo which is about 1.5 hours away from Colima and stopped on the way back to visit beautiful bays called Bahia de Santiago and Bahia de Barcelona.  I have been going out a lot with Pako and his friends but when they are talking it is very difficult to understand as they talk so fast!!!  They have been very patient with me though and often repeat things slower and then if i dont understand they will tell me in English!!!  Will I ever learn Spanish?????
