Each journey begins with a single step... A new part of the world to explore. A short sojourn in the US visiting family then south see the wonders of the old world of the South Americas.

Our journey began a year or so ago with the gradual redecoration of our house. It has been a long slow learning curve and we are now almost expert: painters, tilers, wall repairs, door restorers, kitchen installers etc etc. It's great tho to see it all come together. Everything has been done except the lounge and the last bedroom, and some other small bits and pieces. Oh and one fence. The weather is cold here now and not conducive to doing a lot of painting but the forecast is for fine weather this weekend!
