    This was the first time that I saw men cooking sauces over an open fire. The silver stick was a tube and it seemed like he was tasting the sauce through it. Views[518] Everyday pots are still made by hand on a potter’s wheel. This man lives and works in a little village outside Bundi throwing pots all day long. Views[682] High above the town of Bundi, in Rajasthan, sits the Chitrashala Palace. In days gone by, it was the home of the Ruling Family. Now it is occupied by Macaque monkeys, cows and tourists. Views[405] The people work at backbreaking jobs, carrying heavy loads on their heads, with a smile on their face. Women in their saris work alongside the men and do their share of the heavy work. It is the spirit of these people that makes me want to return to India and gives me faith that the country is developing in the right direction. Views[646] Bundi is one of India’s blue cities. This photo, as seen from the palace, shows people going about their daily lives. The roof of a house is an important part of their home. Views[445]
