My Scholarship entry - Ecuador loves life
Ecuador | Tuesday, November 4, 2014 | 5 photos
My name is Pau, I am biologist and photographer. I was born in 1990 in Barcelona. After finishing my degree in biology I took a Masters Degree in Munich, while also leerning photography by myself. After I found a project to go to Yasuní (Ecuador) on a scientist expedition. My childhood dream of being in the Amazonia came true: I was able to observe the wild life and to live with the ethnic group Waorani. After the project, I travelled around Ecuador alone for a month.
I came back and three weeks later, I flew to Norway and spent two weeks there getting to know the country.
Photos of my trips can be seen on my Instagram (@Cardellach) and on my webpage
(www.paucardellach.com).
Now I am thinking about my next trip and this scholarship is the best option. Why should I go?
I have experience in photography and travelling. I speak English and Spanish. I have experience in the rainforest and I have the INTERNATIONAL WILDLIFE HANDLER title by the IWR. Also I want to continue improving my photography skills with this exciting project. I love to travel with my camera and show these experiences to the world and one day fulfill my dream of becoming a documentary filmmaker.
