Two years ago after I had the opportunity to travel around USA it was the time my love for travel photography escalated into obsession. I saw the sparkle into my friends eyes later on when I was showing them pictures and telling stories. The biggest success for me was that I have managed to awaken curiosity and new perspective for people who had never been there and were having negative evaluation due to having opinion about USA formed basically from stereotypes.
Becoming aware of photography power and combining it with my anthropology studies I feel a strong need to tell my local community and the world stories that are either in front of our eyes but we forget seeing them and stories about distant lands that would inspire the inner need for traveling and better understanding of the human diversity.
I got really excited when I found out that there is a chance of working with a professional National Geographic photographer, because so far I have learned only from my experience and mistakes and i see great opportunity to get deeper in understanding the secret and magic of photography.
