Hey, my name is Callum Thomas and i am an amateur photographer from Lymington, a location at both the heart of the New Forest and the south coast of England. Photography is my absolute passion but due to my college studies i do not get out with my camera as much as i would like, but try my utmost hardest to try and get out when i can. The reason i love photography is because i love to share with people what the world looks like through my eyes and the different way i convey it through, it's satisfying to see somebody appreciate my work and it is something i will never tire of. What drives to get get a better shot is that satisfying feeling when you have taken that one shot you have been waiting to get, it is difficult to describe but it is what keeps me going back out for more shots. Personally, i would love to pursue photography as a career, to be able to live photography on a day-to-day basis would just be amazing! However i have a long way to go with my work and know that winning this competition would give that vital mentoring i desperately need and also that foot in the door which is hard to come by in the world of photography!
