Photography is an alternative way of communication with the world for me. It contains so much more than ordinary description! Emotions, move, atmosphere and mood. A good photography needs no words.

I am a self-learner. I have never been educated nor employed in a photography business. My way to learn photography was through a massive number of shots and careful study of settings afterwards. There is huge determination in this learning process and also good results. More and more people tell me they like my pictures. Since I have started to run a travel blog I get a huge boost through positive comments on my pictures.

There are things I would like to work on therefore I think this scholarship will help to improve my photography skills. I would like to get an insight in landscape and animals photography. Although I am familiar with the “golden hours” rule this is not always possible to follow when travelling. Often, I am in a particular place for a while and I need to capture the light just as it is. I would like to learn how to operate in difficult conditions and still taking good pictures.
