My name is Atanas Kutsev. I graduated Journalism in 2013.
Photography started as a simple hobby once I could afford a DSLR 4 years ago. And then the magic began.
I love travelling as well as photography. And I have been travelling quite a lot for the past years - I went on Work&Travel programme in the USA, on Erasmus programme in Slovenia, on EVS programme in Nepal, teaching English to Buddhist monks, then did trekking in the Himalayas; was a backpacker in India, Thailand and Malaysia; then I went to Cabo Verde on a project for young journalists called BeyondYourWorld. So, everywhere I go, I try to take photographs, from which you can sense the place, from which you can feel like being where I am.
I am really, really passionate in travel and documentary photography, which can be sensed through my work. And that makes my photostories more appealing.
I want to develop more in travelling photography. I want to tell stories. I want to share my experiences in an unconventional way.
I believe I have a different and unique approach and also experience in journalism, which can help telling better stories.
