My Photo scholarship 2010 entry from Broome Australia

I arrived in Broome on the 5th day of school camp. I'd driven 45 year 11 students from Cunderdin, a wheatbelt town in WA and was pretty worn out, but when I saw the water at Cable Beach I was instantly mesmerised and inspired to capture the beauty of Broome. I love travelling and feel lucky that I can display my own photos from all around the world. One of the best things to come out of my photography was when my Mum looked at my photos from Cinque Terre in Italy. She had been wanting to go to Italy for a long time, and when she saw my photos she was so moved that she booked her flights soon after- to see it for herself. I hope that I can inspire more people to see the world and to appreciate their surroundings.
