The ultimate traveler is one who can integrate into a culture. That isn’t easy and I should know; it took me four years to master it.

I’m an American who left her native Los Angeles to live in Vienna, Austria. After the initial struggle of culture shock I was able to integrate into the society around me. That life lesson follows me wherever I travel. I can now more easily blend into a culture and deeply appreciate it. My hope is that different places in the world leave their imprint on me as they help me on my ultimate journey of personal growth.
