Id like to start off by saying only the extraordinary are deemed so, by those who can see their blessings. I have spent my life doing whats supposedly right. From attending school to working to you name it. However, there was a time almost 10 years ago that altered my existence forever. I traveled on a plane for the first time and to Paris at that. Fast forward to now and I am also obsessed with the camera just as much as traveling. Im sure there are many who deserve to be chosen, but what makes me different? Im different because I applied to this contest solely on the fact that it could potentially lead me to another milestone in my life. Traveling to me is the most peaceful thing that can happen to a human. I should be chosen because I believe I will return with a set of images that only I could have captured though allowing the rest of the world to feel. I am fascinated with culture, people and the art of being. I believe I can evoke an emotion that is unlike any other and it is not because I am better than anyone else, but because I have the ability to connect and appreciate people for who they are. The world is a small place I am willing to risk my life to capture it.
