Vietnam - My view
Vietnam | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos
I am a current serving member of the Australian Army with a strong passion for both soldiering and photography. I took up photography as a means of documenting my travels and in pursuit of a hobby that could be taken anywhere for long periods at short notice. I bought my first DSLR in December of 2010 and have not wanted to put the camera down since. There is just something so satisfying about being able to capture a moment in time and share the story behind the image with others.
I feel that in the fast paced lives we live today there is something satisfying about making someone stop and take a moment to, admire, and wonder a little bit about the image in front of them.
Photography is something were you can never know enough. Every time you take a photo, there is another challenge to overcome, I also believe that you can never stop learning and that mentoring is the best method to teach in small groups, to be mentored by someone with such a reputation, would be an honour.
