Deadzone Victory

Berlin is truly amazing, it's grimy, cheap (for Europe) and has so much culture, art and history on offer. Berlin has a massive underground scene, which saw many days spent simply exploring abandoned buildings and theme parks, being invited to warehouse parties, hacker bunkers, roof top parties and dead zone beach Volley Ball games with a bunch of people I met the day before..
After a long night celebrating the Volley Ball victory, I made my way to the abandoned Ice Factory with some friends I had made earlier, where we were kindly invited to lunch by the Tepee community (semi homeless) - we respectfully declined the offer and made our way through squatters and makeshift housing towards the roof top street art party. The roof top party was a diverse crowd that saw the likes of super models, hipsters, artists and business men converse amongst a backdrop of live music and art.
After Berlin I made my way to Prague. In Prague I stayed at a place called the MadHouse as a number of people had mentioned that this was one of the best places they had ever stayed - they were right. They call their guests family and offer you a beer as soon as you walk in. That night we had a family and after exploring the nightlife, we all made our way to the Charles bridge to watch the sunrise over a couple of drinks.
A bunch of guys from London that I met we're making their way to Budapest, which was the same direction I was going, we joined forces and then made our way by train. Within two hours into the train ride, we started playing cards, which turned into a 4 hour long drinking session. By the time we got to Budapest, we were ready to go out.
Buda and Pest, simply put are incredible and will be featured in my next blog.
