My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Thursday, October 27, 2011 | 5 photos

I am a very normal student who is pursuing his study in Malaysia.
I enjoy taking photos in any place at anytime because i believe that a picture worth more than a thousand words. Probably, taking photos is the best and the most effective way to capture the very own moment and feeling of our own or others at that time. Most importantly, i can look back those at memories whenever i want to and i can even share them with peoples around me.

Since the scholarship is open to everyone, i believe that i stand an equal chance to compete for the scholarship. Frankly, i dont not have a really good camera skill and i have been eager to learn.

I love to take pictures and i have even come across the idea in my mind that to sign up for a photographing class in order to brush up my photography skill. However, the tuition fee is just too expensive. Under a lucky coincidence, i come across this website and realize that there is a scholarship program provided here. I am so excited and pretty sure that this program will help me to improve my skill in term of using the camera and shooting the camera at right angle.

The set of photo i uploaded is when i went for travel and when i spending my very own moment with my family and friends. Due to the reason that i am not really a professional camera user, those pictures might not be as perfect as others but they are really meaningful to me.

Travelling to South Africa and having the chance to be mentored by National Geographic Photographer is really great and is definitely an unforgettable experience.

Even i am not getting the scholarship, i would like to thanks to National Geographic Chanel and WorldNomads.com for your generous contribution and effort to work together to offer such a great program which will satisfy the dream of many people like me. Hope that the chosen candidates will learn a lot from you guys!
