My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a 19 year old, female, volunteer, social work and past photography student. I am extremely passionate and hard working with a love for volunteer work and helping others, especially through photography.

During studies, I traveled to Indonesia to do freelance portraiture and volunteer work with orphans with special needs. Upon returning, I organised and held an exhibition with my own photos to raise money for those in need.

I have always wanted to be a national geographic photographer or even worker. I would utilize and value every moment of this opportunity if chosen and would complete any task to the best of my ability to exceed the expectations of those around me and myself.

I am in love with every aspect of the program and would be the perfect candidate for the adventure. I do hope to be considered for this amazing chance, and to put the hundreds of national geographic issues we have stored to use!
