Texas has a wonderful region called Big Bend, where the Rio Grande takes a swing into Mexico.
The Yellow River takes a bend that defines an entire desert--the Ordos--which is 91,000 square kilometers in size. One gigantic bend big enough to hold TWENTY-EIGHT Texas-sized "big" bends.
