When I was akid we played a game that might have been calkled, "Hide-In-Plain-View." An object was chosen, and everyone left the room except the person doing the "hiding." The object had to be "hidden" in plain view. It was remarkable how long it often took for the object to be seen, even out in the open.
And so it is with me in China. Today marks one month in China and I only now realized, looking at the fields and villages of Ningxiz P., dusted with snow, that China has No Fences. Lots of walls, but no fences. At least not where I've been.
