The Madrid train bombing took place a few hours before we arrived, hence delaying our plans in Spain...The city of Madrid shut down for a day after we arrived, so we had to resort to Plan B (Toledo)...a few days after that there were protests and candlelight tributes throughout Spain...and for the remainder of our trip in Europe
