Travel photography for me is showing other people the beauty of different places and culture, and may serve also as an eye opener for us to protect and preserve our culture and environment.
My passion in photography started when my cousin bought a camera and he invited me to travel in some of the places in the Philippines through his motorcycle. All throughout our trip most of the time I was the one who is handling the camera and without knowing I instantly became his personal photographer in the whole trip. After that trip I started reading and watching video about photography because I can’t afford to study photography in universities.
Every time I am taking a photo there is always a joy in my heart that I felt, because every photo for me shows a different story on it. Until now I still don’t have a formal training or mentoring about photography but I am eager to learn and study the art of photography. With this mentoring and scholarship I know this will help me to level-up my skill into professional level and I hope and pray that this is the stepping-stone for me to achieve my dream career as a travel photographer.
