My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Bisma, a 20 years old student studying journalism in University Of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Since I was 15th, I started to see how photography is a very celebration of life and the vagaries of the world that result in the photograph.

In the current world, there’s always that edge that people look for in a person; experience. The reason you are reading this paper. Coming from a country that has so far designed its education on a mere book smarts approach makes every little opportunity to gain access to experience very valuable. What I am asking is not merely to put numbers of support in, but I am inviting you to be part of the people whom I share this passion with, and I am willing to ensure that the passion, and lessons learnt can be of beneficial to everyone as possible, follow ups is a feasible thing. Just like Gobin Vasdev’s said “every place is a school, everyone is a teacher, and every time is time to learn”.

As this Scholarship will allow me to travel, meet people, and capture what life is all about, it alllows me to tell a story. A story where people will be able to see the humanity within it and ensure there’s a balance for the future.
