Birendra is a Social Engeener, believe in bringing change in community. He is doing experimental research in remote district of Bihar since 2011.It is not for degree but for betterment of society and gaining knowledge for workable model.
He is founder Director & Secretary of Mahatma Gandhi Shodh Sansthan (http://mgshodh.org) , which is Gandhian community based organisation promoting Social Action Research in society. He is founding member of Jagruk Nagrik Surksha Sanghathan (http://jnss.in) and AASRA for Community Transformation (http://aasraindia.org) . He earned his post graduate degree in Master in Social Work (MSW). He served one of the largest transnational organisation Pratham Mumbai Education Initiative (http://pratham.org) as State Program Manager, Delhi State AIDS Control Society-Govt.of Delhi (http://delhisacs.nic.in) as Assistant Director(ICTC). He was elected Regional Co-ordinator of UNCSD (United Nationa Commission on Sustainable Development – Major Group of Youth and Children). He contributed to grow international network UCP-SARnet (http://ucpsarnet.org) from beginning of its formation. He manage to expand its activities across ASIA & The pacific. Now he is serving voluntarily as Associate Director. He has developed skill in Social Media Management, Radio & Video Production. He has expertise of Community Radio and Video. He is committed to help rural youth and CBOs to make them IT-Enabler for which he is supporting many organisation by setting up there website and social media platform.
His is developing an web based software to support Govts. of India initiative Integrated Child Protection Scheme, called Integrated Child Protection System (http://icps.in) which will be ensure proper evaluation and monitoring system of child rights and child protection in India. He is also initiated Nayay- Yatra (http://nayayatara.org) an RNI registered human right based monthly news magazine which provide Legal, Technical and Financial Support to Human Rights victims in country.
He strongly belived on “Gandhian approach of Social Work”, and he is practicing that in field with own way. He is in process to setup unique model of social venture called “Mahatma Gandhi College of Social Work”(http://mgcollege.info) This college is situated on Indo-Nepal border of Bihar. Recently he resigned from Principal of Bihar Vidyapeeth (http://biharvidyapeeth.org) an university established by Mahatma Gandhi on 6th Feb 1921. First President of India Dr.Rajendra Prasad was first Principal & Registrar of this university. He is executive member of many National & International renowned organisation. He is affiliated and permanent associate of Gandhi Research Foundation (http://gandhifoundation.net) and work voluntarily as and when required.
Beside this he is author of three unpublished books based on his life and experience “Journey for Justice” is a life sketch and struggle for making career and life. , “The Taste of Chicken Neck” is an experience working in Kishanganj and with education department and understanding of Islam, Muslim community and politics of religious leader. “Punishment of Honesty” is an experience working in Govts department and fighting for own rights and duty. How Government department indulge in corruption and how rule regulation manipulated for extra income by public servants.
