An English Lady Abroad

A few years ago at short notice (5 minutes) I navigated for a guy I'd never met on a Round the World car rally with out spare clothes, money or passport. I went through borders in the trunk. The film crew who were filming for a television channel gave me a camera to film my adventure for them. A passion was born. Since then I have shot a few long distance car rallies which are exciting and I really enjoy. There is usually just 2 of us and we're both amateurs (I'm a stained glass artist) Our footage goes off to be edited and made into a dvd and sometimes a tv series. I find it frustrating, not to be working with the editor. It would be amazing to be mentored by Brian Rapsey and to be able to to make a film all the way through. I'm in a good place for a career change and I think this would give me the confidence and push I need. This is the first thing I've edited (I think you might have already realised that :0 ) and its taught me a lot, not least about time management! Thank you for this opportunity
