My name is Bianka Saenz, and I am an avid photography lover. I love photography because it’s more than simply capturing memories, it’s telling a visual story- something that can impact countless people and stand the test of time. Photos can serve as evidence of the forgotten, justice for the defenseless, and knowledge for a curious world. I try to use photography as bridge between people, places, cultures, and experiences. The beauty of good photography is that it’s potential is limitless. It can plant seeds of camaraderie, compassion, anger, indignation, etc. It can teach respect, understanding, and empathy for other people, places, and cultures.
With my photography I’d love to be an advocate for the aforementioned. I want to give a voice to the voiceless, vibrancy to the mundane, and a piece of the world to those unable to experience it. We all have inner passions and desires, and I hope my photography helps people find a part of themselves that they didn’t know existed. I want it pull at the core of our being and compel viewers to take action for worthwhile cause. I want it to bring forth curiosity and a sense of excitement about this big, huge world and its inhabitants.
