I just love this little town. It's small and quaint and friendly, not to mention being surrounded by incredible beauty. Our landlord told us the first day that there is no crime here. The kids walk the few blocks to town whenever they feel like it and the shops are great. Noah especially likes the candy store. I had to go to the bank to send a fax the other day and it looks like something out of the old West - the tellers are inside the old fashioned cages. Most of the buildings are from the late 1800's and it's a classic Western town.
The surrounding country is breathtaking. It's almost impossible to take it all in. I wonder if the natives ever start to take it for granted. I woke up the other night and couldn't get back to sleep. I went out on the deck for an hour or so and the stars were just amazing! I saw 4 shooting stars while I sat out there. God has surely blessed us with a planet of astounding beauty!
