Heading West

What a beautiful country!

USA | Friday, 16 July 2010 | Views [224] | Comments [3]

So far, we've been through the mountains of Tennessee with it's pristine mountain lakes, the picturesque farms in Kentucky, the acres and acres of corn & soy beans as far as the eye could see in Illinois & Missouri.  But Kansas was the big surprise!  We were expecting flat prairie land, kind of boring as we'd been told.  What we saw were lush, green rolling hills reminiscent of Northern Italy.  There were even vineyards along the way.  Just beautiful!  Today it's on to Colorado for more reasons to be thankful for this wonderful country of ours!

Ditto! I think we should stop at all the vineyards on the way home.
