Day 1 to Mt. Vernon IL.
We left promptly at 7:07am due to the good influence of Pop Pop and Amma. We made great time all day until we were 33 miles out. Then we came across a sign that said " in 16 miles expect 90 minute delays" AAARRRGGGHHH. You know you have been in the car too long when the kids start singing the diarrhea song.
Best part of the trip was driving over Nickajack Lake in TN. Didn't even know this lake existed and it was a gorgeous mountain lake.
