Reporting from: a month as a volunteer in a Russian kindergarten

My Scholarship entry - A Russian island on the Baltic sea. Kaliningrad

"Photographs are made with feet". This means: walking. Be there, be pushed by your curiosity and testify. I guess it is the duty and the privilege to report that drove me to journalism. My will is to discover, and my happiness is to share what I discovered, as if everyone was with me - right there, behind my shoulder, feeling what i felt. I've found that photography is the best mean to do this. And the worst: my eyes are faster, and more light sensitive, and can see deeper in another being’s eyes than any machine.
But I can learn. To be fast in extreme conditions. And to make my camera become my eyes. Here's what I need from you, Mr Jason: speed&technique half soaked in the Amazon. Can’t ask for better!
Sorry for pictures’ low quality. I use a superzoom, because I can't afford a reflex and because “she” allows me to shoot from a distance easily. I hate to interfere with the scene (I even shoot keeping the camera on my chest, not to be seen). No post-production there: I don’t have the softwares, and I think a photograph IS what happens when you shoot. Nothing after.
Eventually, about me: Venetian like Marco Polo, still looking for my centre of gravity, I travel around volunteering.
