I am a 20-year-old male currently in my third and final year of a graphic design course with photography as a minor.
I have always had a passion for photography from a very young age and taught myself the key concepts to good photography from looking at others work and just taking photos myself.

I see everything in angles and colour and the possibilities of how it could be presented through a lens and to an audience. I am a quick learner because of my passion and desire to further my knowledge and skills in the photography field, this scholarship would be an amazing privilege and opportunity for whoever is successful.
I have recently returned from an overseas trip to Singapore, Japan & Malaysia, the main reason for my travels were to photograph and film Japan. I had to work 3 jobs whilst studying to afford this trip and travel everywhere I wanted to go.
I took my Canon 7D with a few lenses. I came back with thousands of photos, and hours of video. After returning from my trip it made me realise travelling and photographing and/or filming is what I want to be doing. Whether it is full time or as a hobbyist, it’s what I love and I want to learn more and more.
