My Scholarship entry - Lao New Year

A long time after my architecture education,i decided to study photography and graduated a year ago from the fine arts university. I made this decision when i stopped and think what i really expect from life. Living in a country baring many different cultures,i know that the only solution to maintain peace is respecting the differences, in thoughts, ideas, beliefs and choices. The more i travel the more i believed that the differences tearing us apart also attracts us to each other. The answer to the question i asked myself was that i want to learn and experience something new, as long as i live and i wish to be capable of sharing the same table with complete strangers in any part of the world, telling them a story and telling ours to the rest. I believe, all people need is widening their views; as i witness every day, the more we close up, the less tolerant we become. This scholarship is a unique opportunity for me to learn how to interpret what I witness and tell it to others in a much profound way.If i could manage that, i would have the chance to do something that makes me happy every single day, and maybe one day i could be one of the others who gives people hope.
