Beau finds the "other" America

There is more to Medellín than Pablo Escobar

COLOMBIA | Friday, 7 February 2014 | Views [319]

At least that is what the tour guide during the "Pablo Escobar tour drilled into our heads. What could have been a really interesting and informative history on that very strange time in Columbia's history was instead a rant session by the angry young colombian giving the tour.

That was a horrible and awful time for Colombia for sure but is it necessary to tell us that it's just offensive to say that the only thing you know about Colombia is cocaine and Pablo? The tour group looked at each other like, did anyone say that? Haha

Still I got some good pictures and the cemetery offers a lovely view of the city. I have to say that Medellín is a lovely city and majestically surrounded by mountains.
