Okay. So I have this internal confession that I believe that I'm this utterly inept photographer. Correction. I'm an utterly inept freelance photographer. The shortcomings in my skills, or knowledge, or most likely my ego are exasperating this belief and probably the underlying flaw that hasn't seen me take the opportunities that come my way. That's not to say I can't see when I miss that perfect reflection, that moment of time standing still, that story that comes just as quickly as it goes but for some reason sometimes I stand timid, cowering in the space between my brain, my body and my camera ready to take it but not self-assured enough to. I'm desperately untrained, crooked, on a path that is underway and disturbed by the notion that this art I love so much, one that has given me direction, a mission and with hope a future is one that I might fail at.
