As the sky cleared up after a quick storm, it was off the beaten track that I stumbled upon a diversity of flora and fauna, too beautiful to ignore.

As we ventured into the depths of the Yellowstone National Park the sky turned dark and moody. Shortly after, the heavens opened up and the freezing rain forced many people to seek cover. As I was left alone with my camera, I could feel the power of the storm recede and sought refuge in the warmth of the geyser.

As the day was coming to an end, I caught a lone bison resting after an afternoon snack.
