When I came across this scholarship I thought it was meant for me! I love travelling, like to stare at other´s culture, see how beauty is represented in other parts of the world, etc..
I started taking photos as a reason to catch in time very happy moments, movement or beauty.
I happenend to live five years abroad where I made huge improvements in photography ,while travelling during vacations or shooting "the new culture". (No need to say that I gained great material...!)
Natural landscapes, city shapes, buildings, sculptures, plants, men doing sports... but seldom animals in its own.
Until now, I have been working with digital cameras (now with model Canon Powershot A2000 IS) and taking special advantage using daylight, large zoom and automatic image stabilizer. That is to say I capture "gold instants" and that I am not keen on manipulating traditional cameras.
What you will see is a sneak view of non traditional polo match.These kinds of sport demonstrations take place during summer time, at certain beaches that are said to gather trend setter people.
These five particular shots (out of 257) were taken at Pinamar beach (Argentina) during January 2011.
They are a clear invitation to demolish pre fixed ideas about practicing a sport... and have fun from that!
Up to date I can say that I am in shape (neither fat nor skinny...!) I practice Pilates and some aerobic excersise...
I finally want to set that I do not receive any money from my photography... that I would like to explore animal photography, polish my technic, publish a book with my material sometime and gain USD by selling photos separately.
