The ferry landing was packed! Everyone abandoning Whidbey Island at 9:30 a.m. on a Thursday; that's what Berit and I are doing. The shuttle packed also as is Sea-tac. Off into the big, busy, peopled world of faraway places. Amsterdam at 2:00 a.m.not enough time to see a Van Gogh hah, but perhaps heroin and pot. Istanbul late tomorrow afternoon, I hope I can see the skyline as we land, where is Ataturk? So thrilled I can hardly stand it.
