Hope for Quetta

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Pakistan | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 3 photos

This summer I have spent in a small city of Balochistan, Quetta. I lived with people from Hazara tribe who became my friends and they treated me like a part of their family. Quetta is a dangerous place nowadays and people are running away in fear of terrorists, bombs, suicide attacks. But family I stayed with, was trying to lead a normal life, against all odds. They had so much hope and faith, we could learn a lot from them. I was stunned and I fell in love with that place hidden between the most beautiful mountains.
The world should notice Hazara people living in Quetta, their problems and help them to see hope for their future.
