We thought it may never happen but here we are finally starting our nomad lifestyle. After living in the caravan at Mudjimba Holiday Resort since January, we have pulled up stumps and are on the move.
First stop: 92 Endeavour Drive, Cooloola. Consolidation stage. Unpack unnecessary items from van, and pack essentials only. Finish EOFY chores. Left Cooloola on 7 July 2017.
Second stop: Margaret Street, Urangan. Visiting Patti and Rob for his 69th birthday and our 45th anniversary.
Third stop: Bargara Lakes Drive, Bargara. Visiting Jo and Nick and watch State of Origin decider. QUEENSLANDER!!!!
We're off. Left on 14th July destination north. Stopped overnight at Yaamba - great pub meals, St Lawrence, Kuttabul - where we visited cousin Lorrayne and hubby Buck. They took care of us and showed us the beautiful Eungulla National Park, where we were so lucky to see a platypus in its natural environment, diving and surfacing a number of times, Conway Beach, Rollingstone, Babinda, and finally on 22nd July to our friend Anita's home at Holloways Beach, Cairns.
