My Photo scholarship 2011 entry
Worldwide | Tuesday, November 8, 2011 | 5 photos
I usually start my day by choosing will I take my analog camera or digital camera. Perfect ending for my day is feeling satisfied with even one photo.
During the day I might climb into a tree or onto a roof, stand still for 2 hours and freeze my fingers so that they will hurt for the rest of the day. I can go into the woods in the night and be afraid of the wolves showing up.
I am 26 and I am just as much scratched and bruised as I was when I was a child.
I try so hard to get the picture I want. To get a picture that captures something. It shows what the weather feels like, or shows the silence or the music. To be satisfied with a picture it must have character and be easy to look at.
It is hard to continue evolving in photography on your own. Having someone to guide and mentor toward better photography has been my dream for a long time.
You, Jason Edwards, would do just fine :)
I have shot a series of photos of the cold backgrounds from Finland.
I would love to have more time to take photographs, get new challenges for photography and be inspired by everything Earth has to offer.
