It is a 10days celebration festival with fireworks competion coming last. To start, is where the women will pray and offering food seeking well wishes. The massive row and rows of dedicated people is just to amazing by: azrryy Views[800] fishing is the way of life in kollam which holds one of the busiest harbour in South Kerala. There is none other way to learn about the culture then following a local on fishing trip. With just traditional fish nets and having to manually swim with it to cover a range required. This is the start of it. by: azrryy Views[397] While one manned the boat the other swim with the nets the cover the range need to capture fishes in the region. Such was their efficiency and that in just a hour, abundant of estuarine swimming fishes like mackerels are caught.
