My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Start with a dream then start working. This is the way I’m achieving the goals in my life. As for me, I have always dreamed of being a well-educated person, to have a good career, to obtain a high position in the society and… to travel around the world. I think we all make our dreams come true by ourselves but I also believe in the magic of a lucky chance. I think such a chance for me is the National Geographic Channel program that can help me in many ways to fulfill my dreams.
To my mind, attending in a project outside your home country is often the first step to becoming a citizen of the world… not of one city. No matter which country becomes your destination, your view of life will be broadened, your experiences enriched, your talents will be sharpened or even discovered, the doors to exciting career possibilities opened. So, if I get a chance to travel at least a week in Bhutan I’m sure to gain a life-long professional and personal experience that will help me to succeed in my life and to grow as a person.
As I already mentioned I love traveling. The reason for that is not only my wish to see the amazing beauty of nature throughout the world and the most famous places of interest but I have always been trying to get a closer look to the cultures of different nations, to understand their way of life, habits and traditions to tell them about those in my country.
Being a communicative person I think it will be easier to communicate with the local people.
The photos which I took it's a simple way to show the life in Khinalig, a village in Azerbaijan. It is an amazing place, and they have their own language, which is related to Caucasian albanians.
I hope I can have the chance to travel to Bhutan, because I have never been to any Asian countries.
