Nelson and able tasman national park. Its the sunniest place in the south island.
I met a lovely girl on the naked bus called Elaine. She was from holland. She invited me for Mexican with a group she was staying with in Nelson. I was staying in tasman bay backpackers, it dies free chocolate pudding, breakfast and wifi. Theses are things not to be over looked in nz, everywhere else you pay for everything. They actually advertise free linen at hostels as a plus... be warned.
I booked a kayaking tour for the national park! As low season there was only one kiwi guy on my tour and the tour guide. It was a perfect day for it. Blue sky, blonde beaches and sun. Seals came to play with the kayak! We kayaked to an island called bird song. Due to the rare birds that live there. The tour guide was called alex and he was great. A seal jumped on his kayak.
I was there for 3 days. I went to the centre of nz a ealk to a view ing point. Its the geographical centre. I also went out with some English people in the room. I also enjoyed the town and sat chatting to an old man on bench. He remembered nelson as a tiny village. Its now not much more than a town by english standards haha.
