Photography is something I've been dabbling in since high school. I've always had an affinity for the creative, thought I wanted to be a graphic designer but then I started traveling. I have dreamt about what I would be like to make a living doing something I love. For the past two years I've worked less than ideal jobs just so I could travel the better part of my country. Ive driven all across the west coast in these last 6 months, from Alberta to the Yukon, Salt Spring Island, Okanaghan Valley and now Whistler BC, I live for new views and new experiences. I don't have many tools, only a dslr and lightroom, but I try to be as creative as possible with what I do have. I am likely not the best Photographer to apply, but I have the drive to make this one of the most memorable experiences of my life. If chosen, I believe this would change everything for me. I'll still always want to pursue a career in Photography and I'll do my absolute best to make that happen for myself, but this opportunity could get my foot in the door. At this point I have absolute nothing to lose and everything to gain.
